A Face-Lift

Deceptive Hearts!

Deceptive Hearts, the book that began the Wild Geese Series, has  been updated and re-released with a dazzling new cover!

Journey to Tomorrow was the eighth and final story in the Wild Geese Series. I published it myself under my new Claddagh Publications imprint. When I received the rights to Deceptive Hearts, I decided to re-release the entire series.

Here's the blurb:

Like the Wild Geese of Old Ireland, five boys grew to manhood despite hunger, war, and the mean streets of New York...

He survived war, and returned to devastation...

A hero of the Irish Brigade, Shane MacDermott returned home to New York to find his family decimated and his world shattered. He'd vowed to protect those he loved-but can he protect the woman who came to mean everything to him?

She risks her life to save the people she loves...

Lydia Daniels will risk anything to protect the women she shelters beneath the roof of her elegant Gramercy Park mansion-even if she has to trust the one man who can destroy her.

Shane and Lydia both hide secrets that could destroy them-and put their lives in jeopardy. Can their love overcome their carefully guarded deceptive hearts?

The new edition is available NOW!

"Another story that I didn't want to close the book on!"

"Cynthia Owens Never Disappoints!"

"Cynthia Owens is an excellent storyteller!"

Hello, and welcome to my website. I’m so glad you stopped by!

I chose to adorn my web page with the Claddagh because it’s the Irish symbol of Friendship, Loyalty, and Love, three themes which resonate throughout my stories. The Claddagh ring, a traditional wedding ring from the west of Ireland, features a heart held in two hands crested with a crown, which signifies the motto, “Let love and friendship reign.”

So come on in, feel free to browse, and enjoy a bit of the craic (fun). And as they say in Ireland, “Cead Mile Failte” ~ A hundred thousand welcomes!
